how to set up vent???

how do i set up vent? i put evil as the host name and set port to 4012 but still can't connect/find the chat??

The hostname is the IP address of the server you are connecting to. You put "Evil" ( if that is your nickname ) into the nickname / username field.

The Server field is for the server name.

i thought evil was the server name ?? or at least thats the way it was explained to me lol

Oh, I wasn't saying it wasn't. I don't know the real info because I don't use Ventrilo for WoW. However if it is the server name, it goes in the server name field.
